STANDARD EXPERIENCE COURSES
DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING (Try Dive)
Pre-requisite: 10 yrs or older ~ completed medical statement
The Discover Scuba Diving experience is conducted at our heated swimming pool with one of our friendly PADI instructors and usually lasts around 1 hour and 15 minutes. The DSD course is an introduction to SCUBA diving where you can try out SCUBA for the first time without the commitment of signing onto an entry level course. All equipment is set up for you during the kit orientation and all you need to do is jump into the pool, put the scuba kit on and enjoy the experience. The session is guaranteed to be "light and fun" with no hard sell at the end of the evening...we believe in letting you make the decision to take the next step or not.
BUBBLEMAKER SCUBA EXPERIENCE (Childrens Try Dive)
Pre-requisite: 8 to 10 years of age ~ completed medical statement, Parents permission
The Bubblemaker experience dive is tailored to introduce children between the ages of 8 and 10 years of age to the wonders of the aquatic world and is the children's equivilent to the Discover Scuba Experience. The Bubblemaker course usually lasts around 1 hour and 15 miutes and includes a short orientation and safety presentation. The Bubblemaker course is often a prequel to the PADI Seal Team course.
PADI SEAL TEAM (Children)
Pre-requisite: 8 to 10 years of age ~ completed medical statement, Parents permission
The PADI Seal Team course is a tailored SCUBA course to introduce children to the many areas of recreational scuba diving. Conducted in our heated swimming pool over 10 weekly sessions, PADI Seals are tasked each week of the course with an underwater "mission". PADI Seals will learn week by week underwater dive skills as well as introductions to dive specialty areas such as Underwater Photograpy, Wreck, Underwater Navigation, Search & Recovery and many others. As PADI Seals progress they gain PADI creditations, certificates and decals. The PADI Seal Team course is a great preperation for children who want to enter the Junior Scuba or Junior Open Water Diver programmes at the age of 10.
SNORKELLING and SKIN DIVER COURSES (Adults and Children)
Pre-requisite: No age limit ~ completed medical statement, Parents permission
Orientation sessions at our heated pool in the use of snorkelling and skin diving equipment and the correct techniques.
