ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR COURSE
Prerequisites: 18 years+ ~ HSE Medical ~ Divemaster + current EFR certificate
The Assistant Instructor course is most commonly undertaken as part of the PADI Instructor Development Course, which preceeds an instructor exam. Candidates can choose to progress straight to instructor or undertake the instructor element of the course at a later date.
As an Assistant Instructor you will gain additional teaching responsibilities, including the ability to teach specific courses independently without the direct supervision of an instructor.
The Assistant Instructor course can suit the individual who may have less free teaching time but still wishes to progress along the PADI professional ladder.
